TurD is a direct sequel to WoD isn't it - I still can't believe they'd drop it and leave the story un-finished. The whole McDune mantra is "plug the gaps, complete the story"...

A main feature of (good) Dune is ecology - McDunify it and you get a maverick (good or evil) Dry-land Ecologist (KJA must have gotten that far into Dune before he gave up.) With a grand plan to fix the earth.

Yes, it re-treads the Pardot Kynes thing... but originality is beyond their remit and their ability.
