Yeah, I'll discuss it in two sentences:
There's not a single "official" thing about that list. Just because Frank Herbert's brain-dead offspring hired a rent-a-hack to write some fanfic, that doesn't mean it counts.

KJacket and fart-blocker spend decade and change, lying to the Dune FanBase and raping the Legacy of Literature Frank Herbert left behind. If it wasn't written by Frank Herbert it isn't canon, period. No amount of lies, promotions, name dropping, or corporation forming, will ever change that. No amount of raving from me will change what they have done, but the answer is in the crap they have scrawled on paper. They are talentless hack, money grubbing, self promoting, Literary Assassins with no respect for the legacy or the literary world as a whole.
Their works don't even pile up to a poorly written piece of Fan-fiction, and would be an insult Fans out there to even label it so.
Why so heated? Every so often something comes along that just churns the coals and lights the fire, and this kind of crap is one of those.

then there's the reality - The Living Herbert Parasites control the Copyright -
are there now new editions of Frank's books with this list of books on the first flyleaf
(or whatever those pages are called) .... ?
Merritt could write "Introduction to the Duniverse" essays explaining how Keith's Dune
fit into and around Frank's Dune,
in Frank's books ....
and, g-ds forbid, as has been suggested in the past, issue
revised editions of Frank's books,
to bring them in line with Keith's ramblings - i.e. the very first epigraph in Book One; a simple "historical
footnote" could be added to indicate that Irulan's a propagandist .... &etc...

Doesn't the official Dungnovels board endorse the timeline which includes all the diarrhoea of Miss Erasmus and her Adventures In A Sequined Cocktail Dress Trilogy and the shit about those brains in jars?

Eh? No it isn't, it's about the "official" chronology of the books, I'm talking about the timeline of events put together by that Turkos geezer where he updated the timeline from the DE to include the events from Combover's literary turds. Make yourself useful and go and have a look for me. Cheers.

It's like a timeline of events written from the perspective of a historian in Dune times, with the dates in BG and AG. It talks about events from Earth history but in a deliberatly distorted way, like the real history has been lost and muddied over time. I'm sure there was a version where they included the antics of those brains in jars and Miss Erasmus, randomly shoved into the original timeline from DE.
I'm not going over there to look, though LOL. I'm too scared.

oh oh, okay I gotcha - brain freeze - and yes ! I remember that now - the timeline from the DE with Keith's Dune
shoved in there - House Atredies ? maybe Merrit's board - or a separate blahg page ?
that was a huge list of the chronology of the events in the universe of Dune ....
this is raging about the Living Herbert Parasites including Keith's Dune books (for "chronological" reading) on the "Official" Dune webpage ....

That would be saying anything not from Frank is dung wouldn'it? And i didn't see that written anywhere so there are no spoilers to be found unfortunately...
