What's this "snow" think you speak of? Is it that fluffy stuff that lodges itself on the far distant mountains and gives us electricity every spring?

Aye, I've heard about it too! Somewhere yonder in the far north there be this "snow" the ancient scrolls speak of, but no man has chanced travel there and return to tell us since the days of my grand-grand-grandsire.

Actually, we had maybe 1-2 snowfalls this year, maybe a month ago, which is very rare in these parts(apart from mt. Hermon of course, but that's 1.2 Km high).

Of course, now we're having a bloody summer for all it seems, I'll probably have to start wearing short sleeved shirts in the daylight now.

I saw the most recent snow in Jerusalem on CNNj. We've only had one accumulation this year.

[looks outside]

All clear now. Guess I gotta head down to the office after all. :(

I'm in a port city, so we get even less snow than Jerusalem. At least they get it every other year or so(though still it means only a few snowfalls that would shame real snowfalls).

But I'm not sure it qualifies as snow, what we got in Haifa, it's more like alot of hail, not fluffy or small at all. It's just not cold enough here.

Nope, I saw some snow driving across the lake last weekend. No mountains up here.

Err, if no mountains then why is it "up here"? A plateau?

Aha, got'cha! :P

I'm actually on the side of a mountain...but the mountain is low and I'm near at the foot of it, probably not much more than 50 meters above sea level.

I'm at 25 feet. The only white flakey things that we see in the air is ash.

Monday had six inches of snow and today almost three. The house is at 7100 feet above sea level.

I've started wearing short sleeves today...well, it's spring already here, as usual for this time of the year, but this year spring seems to have started with a summer like hotness.
Only difference from actual summer is the vegitation's(little bushes and some trees, but mostly weeds and thorns) still green, so it's very humid and chocking if you stand by it in the sun.

We're getting a steady hot eastern(desert) wind for a couple of days now...and it seems it's carrying fine dust as well, contributing to the choking effect.

Bloody weather...
