she had bigger teets than the na'vai did, ya think cameron spending 300 mill to make the thing he could have made the females bigger. They do it in hollywood for a fraction of the cost!!

I wouldnt mind a trip to brazil to hit some of that kinda crazy!! Id volenteer to spread the blue paint beyond the facial region. I would even offer to kick the dog hard to make it even more fun.

Im gonna say it before someone else does, no DR Manhattan jokes!!!

My God, Its Full of Tards!

I mean, its possible a true leader could take these people and show them, hey, Earth has some pretty epic 3D visuals itself, and maybe if we work together we can preserve them, but the funniest part of this is that these people will forget about this "life changing experience" within a year. Reading DUNE for the first time was a life-changing experience, because hey, its been a decade and a half and I still care about it. Avatar simply shook them out of reality for 2 hours and seems to be acting more like a mood altering addictive drug than an "experience".

Do they not think that the Na'vi have smelly shit, douchebags, and political disputes? They don't have toilet paper, which while that means they have no Wal-marts (yet) it also means THEY HAVE NO TOILET PAPER. THEY WIPE THEIR ASS WITH THEIR HANDS, WHICH INCIDENTLY THEY ALSO USE TO MANIPULATE THEIR MIND BRAIDS. Which calls to mind the ancient Navi joke: "Damn, I've got a shitty connection today". Didn't see one of them yet which swabbed the neural connection. Thats a breeding ground for infectious disease on an exposed portion of their nerve system. Actually, that seems to be a pretty good analogy since what Avatar seems so to be so far is a MENTALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE.

Its going to win Best Picture, but hey, Taylor Swift won album of the year for her "performance capture". (AutoTune. I've heard her live and recorded. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.)

that is the problem of our times, everything is "an experience", "an adventure", from reality shows to movies, but then people need "new" and "quickly"...
One of the heads of the biggest French private TV said his job was to sell available brain time to CocaCola, and even if we're talking of a movie here, it remains the same objective: how much fucking shitty (nice joke about the shitty connection Amp' btw)memorabilia can they sell? Maybe more people should try some mind altering drug and then go see avatar? Now that would be a laugh

we live in a time where words lose their true meaning from incorrect use; it's a bit like those cannibals who thought eating the heart of their enemy would give them their strength.

You love their lifestyle, apart the fact they live in trees, have no computers or video games, so what is it you love about it?

Not to mention the virgin fantasies about some 3D animation.

To put in in the words of the wise man, "Sooner or later though, you always have to wake up"

Let's do this... Now to come up with a name.

Ugh... looking at that site, this is going to be painful... These people are idiots. Science fiction (and otherwise) loooong ago evoked in me similar feelings, like resentment of the human race and the way we are, but for fuck sakes, if Avatar is the first thing that has ever clued you into this, then you're truly an Avatard.

These people deserve to be fucked with by us.

don't seem to be enough vowels in the first name .....

The two L's are supposed to represent a "pseudovowel". Or some such shit like that (that Frommer pulled out of his backside, I fear).

He means what we more usually call a "syllabic liquid" (L or R), like at the end of table. Read it like it were written "Kull-teh Mahk-toe", that should work. :)

(You can't know how much I hate that I know even this much about it. :( )

The best thing about Avatar was the visuals - without them you're just left with a crap movie. A least wait for a Blu-Ray-HD-Rip to come out.

I think they charges EUR 6.00 extra at the cinema for the 3D version - there's no way in hell I'd pay that EVEN if the visuals are great. I'm gonna rent it for EUR 3.00 when it hits blockbuster.

Someone I know saw it in 2d and the everyone's response was.. "Why?".

Thinking about... how well is this film gonna do on DVD? Are they going to render a red-and-green version for us mortals to get the cinema experience at home? ... :? In Imax3d and it was phenomenal - even my Cameron-hating mate had to give it 24 hours before he started picking holes... DVD though? It just ain't worth it :P

I'm not gonna see it in the cinema at all. I'll want to see it though - it's easier for me to say it's a mediocre movie (at best) then.

I'm also a bit pissed, "the road" isn't showing in any cinema near me! But I guess it's because it's not set in Pandora ;-)
