Subject: WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING ON JUNE 30,2011: Executive Order 13575
Words from OBAMA just a few days before the election in Nov 2008. Paraphrased -- in just a few days I/we will begin to fundamentally transform America!
How can anyone not believe that he (and others like him) fully intends to destroy America as we know it. And We The People just sit by and watch it happen. I'm as guilty as the next person; because I feel helpless as to what to do. I am just one vote. It just makes me sick to think of the vast number of idiots that will vote for him (and others like him) for his / their re-election in Nov 2012. Obama makes Roosevelt, Johnson, Carter and Clinton look like boy scouts!!!!!
Not concerned yet? Check out Executive Order 13575 and watch the commentary on youtube below.

Executive Order 13575—Establishment of the White House Rural Council
June 9, 2011
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United
States of America and in order to enhance Federal engagement with rural communities, it is
hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Policy. Sixteen percent of the American population lives in rural counties.
Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the future and ensuring
American competitiveness in the years ahead. These communities supply our food, fiber, and
energy, safeguard our natural resources, and are essential in the development of science and
innovation. Though rural communities face numerous challenges, they also present enormous
economic potential. The Federal Government has an important role to play in order to expand
access to the capital necessary for economic growth, promote innovation, improve access to
health care and education, and expand outdoor recreational activities on public lands.
To enhance the Federal Government's efforts to address the needs of rural America, this
order establishes a council to better coordinate Federal programs and maximize the impact of
Federal investment to promote economic prosperity and quality of life in our rural
communities.

I was thinking about this a little more, you'd want to be able to fire blanks so it seems real artifacts would be out.Hunchback Jack wrote:Hey, SR, I stumbled across a movie props web site that sold Civil War props of various kinds, and it got me to thinking ...
In your re-enactments, do participants use movie props, or are they frowned upon? I imagine genuine artifacts from the period would be preferred, but how do replicas - hand-made or otherwise - movie props, etc fare when comparing re-enactment garb/accoutrements?
