I could get another version of the existing one without the pixel edges too.
What do you guys think?
I really appreciate whatever you come up with, thank you.
Also, is DuneFishUK still around? 'Cause he's way more qualified than I am in this.
He last posted this past summer.

The logo looks a little rough around the edges, doesn't it? Sorry to be so picky, maybe we should just go with a solid color?
Better ?

Now that we've found our two logo prototypes (Freak, Omph, it's your call), let's see the next issue :
❹ site name
4 options :
option 1 : White small letters (minuscules/lower case)

option 2 : Black/brown small letters (+ white subtitle)
| option 3 : White small caps

option 4 : Black/brown small caps (+ white subtitle)

I like the one with the logo Lotek just did. First one, "pro ubuntu.PNG".
I like #4.

I like #4.
- Lotek's logo, checked
- Brown small caps, checked
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And then ...
❺ right header
- option 1 : no illustration
- option 2 : pro_ubuntu design
- option 3 : calligraphic design element ONLY
- option 3a : small
- option 3b : long
- option 4 : calligraphic design element + illustration
- option 4a : the worm
- option 4b : the crysknife (copyrighted material ?)
...
etc
....

I would go for one of the first three, although I like the graphic idea, I fear it would be too much stuff going on.
But I don't mind either way.
NB:
thx Freak, I'm super stoked to have my logo on your board man

❻ board index : columns
phpBB allows you to choose the form of display list subforums, the columns you want to expand, resize, invert or remove (Category title | Topics | Posts | Last Post)

❼ subforums : titles/images
- option 1 : no changes made
- option 2 : customised titles and subtitles (font size and/or font colour)
- option 3 : customised AND illustrated titles
Is that clear enough or do we need a translator ?

You have clearly stated the options, well done!
Can we use Dunefish's font in option 2?

alinea (latin word) means indented line ; "an indentation is an empty space at the beginning of a line" (source: wikipedia)
