"Every attendee received one of the special Winds of Dune slingsacks. We signed books, answered more questions, and stayed until everyone in the line was finished."

An odd word choice... :shock:

Did you guys spot all the classic Kevin J. Anderson Bitchy Queen moments?

* Complains about being late;

* Complains about his suitcases;

* Complains about the Cheers bar.

And be sure not to miss another classic "Kevin doesn't get it moment" when he talks about the church. See, the church posts a cute sign saying they're "open on Sundays" ... it's worth a smile and maybe a quick chuckle; it's a harmless attempt at irony ... and here's Keith's response:

"Really?"

It's just so wonderful to be reminded that DUNE is being controlled by a compulsive liar who is also completely humor-free and unable to detect irony. Yeah, that's who I want writing for me.

Oh, I live for Kevin's blog! I read every word. It's the top source for his Bitchy Queen moments, his "Kevin doesn't get it" moments, and his comical displays of self-importance. I never miss an episode.

And book tours are the best. They add bad photography, unintentionally funny shots of Bobo, and half-full rooms that Kevin tries to convince us are "standing-room only."

Absolutely priceless, all of it. I've got the McBlog at the top of my RSS reader.

I think it's a close run thing. Chig has a hate website and blog, but Duke, your attacks show such enthusiasm, such vitriol, such *relish*. It's like you take every single thing that KJA says and does as a personal affront.

I love it. :)

Oh dear, not much of a turnout...

And wasn't it sooo nice of them to mention Andy's copy being left behind. How could he be that careless? Oh, that Andy!

(BTW, ty Andy, your mission was accomplished and your employer thanks you. Payment dropped in the usual manner. See you in Philly)

Yes, I like to think of myself as a specialist. I'm not much good at deconstructing the McDune books, but I'm always on the lookout for hypocrisy, lies, social retardation, lack of writing skill, and other forms of unintentional humor from my man Kevin J. Anderson.

Hey, rather than start a new one, could we just make this the general WoD Tour thread?

So Hackerson has Twatted about the Long Island signing. Wasn't Tleszer going to go? :)

"My friend Heather Eir also came to visit, but our time was short, and we had to get back to the train station, back to Manhattan, to catch some sleep for this morning’s trip to Princeton."
