I actually read the first book in that new Star Wars series. Even for Star Wars it was pretty bad and one of the first series I'm not even going to attempt to follow. Tells you how bad things are getting in the NuDune if it can't even keep up with that trash.

I think the new one is I didn't read it. The one I read was by Aaron Allston, who usually isn't quite so bad, but his last one was.
