Malky's death style

Moneo used one of my favorites on Malky, very slow and gruesome too.

Chop to the throat, the victim drowns in their own blood.
This makes me wonder why Moneo chose a nasty way of killing Malky; perhaps because of his disrespect for the God Emperor? Any thoughts?

I think he was jealous of Malky's close relationship with Leto... along with his dissrespect. I imagine that Malky probably cause Moneo a lot of stress in the past too.

Payback's a bitch.

I love how Leto told Moneo to do it.

"I'm just going to go over here, and when I come back, perhaps Malky will be dead."

Not verbatim, but something like that. Goddammit I love that book.

Yes like if he were a Don, Don Leto Corleone, What was that relationship of Frank Herbert with The Godfather? I read about it years ago but I don't remember it.
