Hello

Post by SadisticCynic »

Hello, I assume it is customary to accomplish first posting in this subforum so:

I've been 'lurking' around Dune forums for awhile now. I remember Sandchigger's banning andthe consequent wondering why? He gave most of the intelligent comments on that site. Thus began my re education into the true nature of KJA etc. And I've been following the Chigggerblog and Jacurutu ever since.

Anyway the reason I finally joined was because today I found that my Dune Messiah was missing a few pages; namely what is referred to as the 'Deathcell Interview'. I have, I think, a copy of it as well as Dune Genesis but I seem to recall that there were other writings from Heretics of and Chapterhouse Dune. Is there any way to get ahold of these without buying various editions of the text?

The editions of Herretics and Chapterhouse I have are Gollanz UK if that's any help. Thanks.

Hi, nice to meet you.
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hypatia approaches one.

Welcome! :)

Yeah UK doesn't get Bronso or Genesis - but we do get a different prologue in DM. IIRC those are the only two "extras" there are - except for CHD Afterword but you should have that.

DM Prologue(s): viewtopic.php?t=91

HoD Prologue(s): viewtopic.php?t=241

There wasn't one for CH:D that I know of.

I have both UK and US editions posted.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

And thanks Freakzilla, I needed the Heretics US intro. What I meant about Chapterhouse was that I vaguely recall mention of differing chapters or suchlike between the UK and US editions, but maybe that intro was it.
