Well, I didn't know him as well as Mandy and others, but I didn't get that kind of vibe from him.

I got the feeling he grew tired of people calling him out on stuff so he finally just left.

That makes more sense.

I figured he did get sick of everyone arguing with him, but I think what actually took him away was probably just lack of internet for a while (he mentioned having troubles sometimes) and by the time he got it back, he was over the whole Dune forum thing and just gave up on coming back.

I still have an unread message to him from ages and ages ago sitting in my outbox, something about a hebrew translation question I think.

Well I do hope my fears are misplaced and that he is still out there. I actually miss him some. I also miss GamePlayer. I wish he would come back.

No way, man! I guarantee you, if orald still draws breath, he's out there somewhere posting angrily on some internet web forum about Dune. The dude lived for this kind of thing.

I don't know how he could avoid our radar though. I do hope he's OK.

I miss GamePlayer too, but he's done with us for good I imagine.

He gets on MSN messenger now and then. Haven't seen him online for a couple weeks, but that isn't unusual.
