I wonder if Frank was making an association between the God Emperor and the clitoris with the phallic connotations of the worm form. :think:

Imagine if Leto had had his prosthesis made, that would be a phallus on a phallus.

I forgot to say - I got a message from him on DA saying he'd used the font on a version of the God Emperor one: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HH1pO7qOw3k/T ... Btitle.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'd buy that :)

More here: http://www.bluecanvas.com/markmolnar" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

From the artist, Mark Molnar:
Hi James,

Yeah, no problem. Feel free to post my images. The only thing I would like to ask is to credit my name add a link to my sites (portfolio: http://markmolnar.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and sketchblog: http://momarkmagic.blogspot.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
Please note, the artworks I am doing could be slightly different from the original Dune story. They are more experiments to establish the overall mood for my personal project. They are only my own visions and just roughly based on the original book by Frank Herbert. I have got lots of complaints recently that my illustrations (although they look cool) not reflecting the original world. Like there aren`t droids there, Sardaukars look different, etc.
I am just saying this to avoid confusion in the Dune fan community... :)

Best,
Mark
