This was sent to my gmail today, about 3 hours ago.

I've briefly visited this arrakeen.info thing now, and seeing Baraka there(or someone using his name) I'm guessing I'm not the only one to recieve it.

From what I can see the leaders are Kantele and Auliya, both are names I don't recognize.

And I can only say one thing- fuck "new" Arrakeen, I'd rather much not get in touch with anything that tries to continue that site.

By why the pretense that she herself is just posting "on behalf of the caretakers of the recently re-opened Dune community which some of you are already familiar with or might be interested in"?

Ooh, dat maybe a bad t'ing: the registration for the chat isn't integrated into the rest of the site, is it? (If you're logged in to the board, does it automatically log you in to the chat?)

I blocked T(A)U from Hyppo a few months ago. Don't think I blocked her from here though. Back in Dec when we were trading notes over at HA I thought she referred to some stuff she read here, so she still does come by, and pretty recently too.
