Sometimes I've typed things and no one outside the UK knew what the words meant. I never assume British slang is used by anyone outside the UK anymore, he might have thought I meant his faced looked like shit.

haha i know how you feel apparently we here in northwest ohio are rather unique(or so ive been told)

we tell distance by time. say it in miles and we stare blankly till you say 30 min or whatever it may be (also a short story to go with this somebody once told me they had family travelling over in london i think it was and referenced the distance into time thing and the person they were talking to immediately knew they were from ohio because of it... take the truth into your own hands but that was the story)
