There was a McDune answer on Jeapordy! last Thursday. I don't know exactly what it was, a co-worker sent me a text about it.

^^^Yeah, I saw that. Of course, KJA and Becca were babbling about it on the Dune Saga Facebook page. The clue is basically, "KJA and BH wrote Sandworms of _______?" So the question is "What is Dune?" . I have to say, I was kinda pissed that the first words in the clue were "Kevin J. Anderson", rather than FH or even BH...

There was also a clue a while back that was like, "1965 novel by Frank Herbert that features Bene Gesserit witches who use the mantra, " I must not fear, fear is the mind-killer". "
...And no one got the FH one, while the KJA and BH one, the contestant got it for 200$. Damn.

I caught the last part of a Futurama episode yesterday, and in it Fry seemed to have a Miles Teg like moment. There was a fire, and he looked like he was about to lose his shit. Anyway, he starts chugging this coffee (I think it was coffee) and afterwards time seems to slow down for him. Not only that, he can move incredibly fast, and saves himself and everyone else at that party. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yes, it was the outcome of his experiment to discover what would happen should he drink 100 cups of coffee.

That was pretty funny. I've noticed that a lot of these shows have the characters ingesting drugs unknowingly (pot cookies). Would it be so unacceptable for them to do it on purpose? Does that happen ever?
