Pic a template you like. The type template you pic will dictate the size of the banner. Then send me the pics you like and what you hope for it to look like, idea on type of font etc. I'll be happy to come up with something for you to consider.

I've heard you mention your wife is good with images, so maybe she can do some to. Then maybe you can put it up to a vote on which banner is the best.

I looked today at all my fav template sites and found nothing that I felt worthy for a Dune forum. You may have to pay a bit for a nice one. I can't do templates from scratch, but I can damn sure change em around.

So if you find a template that almost works, but if only this or that were different. More than likely, I can alter it. But you are denying yourself the fun of doing it trial and error on your own. ( Similar in feeling to giving yourself a labotomy )

You have to do the research for yourself tho I'm sorry to say. You are the boss here, you know what you like, you have to decide. (Kinda sucks the air outta of it eh?) I looked at hundreds and hundreds of templates while trying to find one I liked for Haven. I couldn't allow you to miss on that experience.

I'll work on it. I really do want to do one myself from scratch. But if anyone out there wants to take a crack at one I'll look at it. Not saying I'll use it...

I've uploaded the Chronicles theme for y'all to use if you choose.

Don't like it. The background makes the text less legible. Not by much, but it's less than ideal which is less than good.

I think it's okay if there is a way to change the yellow text in the Index page. That part is a little hard to read. I look forward to some other options as well.

Yea, the yellow text is a bit hard to see, and I still don't like the woody part.

It's just an option.

I mainly wanted to find out how to install it.

Now that I've figured that out I'll work on some custom ones.

Not bad, but doesn't quite fit a Dune board with all that wood. Now the parchment looks OK.

Remember, you can't make everyone happy. To have a choice or two is always good.

Most of the requested templates have been added for your viewing pleasure.

I like Aeolus, using it now.

It's good that it has instantly recognizeable "new posts" symbols, I hate when you have to squint to see if this pixel means there've been new posts or not, like in some profiles I've seen over the net.
Always use colors contrasting the theme for new posts I say.
