Nice! Working a little Hamlet reference in there ... very literary!
Ooooh ... maybe Kevvie could re-write some Shakespeare next! You know, work some giant killer robots into Macbeth and that sort of thing.

"Anything I write will be remembered and listed in bibliographies on Dune for several hundred years ..." — some delusional halfwit troll.

Hyppo seems to be posting a lot on DN these days (BECAUSE SHE HAS SO DAMNED MUCH DUNE TO CONTRIBUTE DAMMIT!!!)...does that mean Sietch Tabr has slowed down?
Anyway, herself on cover art:

OK, I see what she likes...I mean, means. That caught my eye, too.
(Don't anyone let your children see that now!
)
Anyway, herself on cover art:
Personally, there is NO cover art that would induce me to buy Harry Potter. There is some cover art that attracts my attention to a book - especially if it's done by Michael Whelan or Larry Elmore. But that's no guarantee that the story inside the cover is worth the $10.99 CDN plus GST that it would cost me to buy it.

OK, I see what she likes...I mean, means. That caught my eye, too.

OK, what's playing tonight on Comedy Central?

Oh, doubly kewl! Prodigal providence: stupid has come home!

He's serious about that answer, you know. Really. What more need be said?
Oh, kewl, it's almost like some Dumb Novels version of The Reader ... only it's the kid that's illiterate. That was a considerably shorter wait than anticipated.![]()
You gotta give Kevin and Brian credit. They may not have been able to match Frank's mastery of prose, but they would definitely beat him in a writing race. I heard it took Frank more than five years to write Dune...

Fortunately Schu was on hand:
This, however, is primo quality stuff: NFD IS BACK AGAIN!!!

Oh, man, could he possibly be making all this shit up?

There's some low level back-and-forth chatter between fedaykin1976 and Redstar about The Chronicles of Riddick ripping off Dune, but ... meh, why bother.jacurutu.com is much more active, and I find the intellectual level to be higher, not to mention the more balanced approach to moderation.

I have heard that Mars was inhabited with humanoid life in the distant past but was destroyed by war. The original Planet of The Apes series was influenced by the author's past life memories of Mars.

I particularly enjoyed his posts on the now defunct Sietch, where he claimed that the government had cleaned out his bank account to keep him under their control.
Gorrr, imagine if he'd ever managed to get his trembling hands on sufficient funds to buy hard drugs, instead of eating the toadstools harvested from his own naval jams.

Yes, she posted a link to her miserable failure of a site just after she read my PM to her bitching at her for passing on email contact details to the "admins" at Snatch Tabr while she was claiming not to be a member of that site. I'll post the PMs later.SandChigger wrote:Hmmm. I see Hyppo has finally pulled her head out of her box and publicly acknowledged her connection by posting a link to Sietch Tabr.![]()

Let's see what's new in Dumb today!
dumbnovels.com Forum Index » All Things Dune » Paul & Poison
Oh ... no ... on second thought, YOU'RE RIGHT WHERE YOU BELONG!
dumbnovels.com Forum Index » Off-Topic » Other Dune Forums
I mean, there's precious little Dune-related discussion there. Evidently they've BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. But plenty of McDune and KJA ass-sucking.
(Mmmm ... tastes like teen spirit?)
dumbnovels.com Forum Index » Fan-Fiction » Exodus of the Vernian League
Now he pops up again after a hiatus of about half a year and decides to continuextend one of Chanilover's posts parodying SeruK Anus's Vernian League shit. Which CL posted in February 2007.
I didn't even bother trying to read the whole post to see if there's anything even remotely amusing in it. The utter cluelessness of the whole thing is just off-putting. And this moron trying to riff on something by CL, well, that's like when arnoldo tried to continue one of my fanfics.
Another massive fail.
(Oh yeah, Israfil, one of the members from Sietch Tuber has shown up on DN. Birds of a feather....)

Why not? It's not like it's really about Dune, except in a very peripheral sort of way.Dunenewt wrote:Don't forget Dune2k.com!

This dipshit joined about the time I got banned, and in the interim of about a year and a half has made only 27 posts. ALL in the fan fiction forum.colmywaykurtz wrote:"...as the Sloebot began to play EVE for another couple of hours." ...
