Ah, the days when Hip Hop was awesome... I've heard that good stuff still exists, but it sure isn't the stuff that's popular. :(

I think there's even more awesomeness nowadays. It's just hard to find it amongst all the shit. I mean, if it's not getting radio play, how will you ever find it? Who has the time to search for it?

I'm sure you're right, good stuff just buried in garbage. I just wish I'd been around for the early defjam days, when Rick Ruben decided he's simultaneously be the producer to revolutionize Hardcore Punk, Metal, and Hip Hop... man that guy is a god! When I listen to early Rage Against The Machine stuff that he produced it blows my mind.

And besides, what other producer could have gotten Kerry King from Slayer to play guitar for Hip Hop tracks?!?!

I fucking love Alison Krauss. I forgot about her teaming up with Robert Plant.

Looks like there's a bunch of cool stuff on this album, even music from Dune.
Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

I doubt that i'd ever listened to the Galactica (tv) theme before this, what a great piece of music to have missed for so long.

I am always amazed at how much 'San Francisco' by Cascada sounds like 'California Gurls' by Katy Perry.
