Let's talk about this BCS bullshit. Now OU & Florida are playing for the
goddamn National Championship, but the UT beat OU 45-35. WTF ?
Both teams went 11-1. Of course, so did Texas Tech, who beat the
UT in a close game, but were fucking walked on by OU. And Alabama
only lost one game to Florida in the SEC championship, but Florida's one
loss was to Ole Miss, for the love of g-d.
But then, what about Ball State ? Undeafted. And so's Utah.
Now, a playoff system is just unworkable, and notice that all the assholes
who complain about the BCS and say "Playoff" have no ideas to put forth
on just how we should do this. Play thru the December break ? You want
these kids to play 20 or 21 games a year ?
Everybody signed onto the BCS system. We all agreed on the point system
and agreed to abide by what the computers said. So the computers said
OU & Florida.

Asking a bunch of coaches (who play politics with the system), a bunch of goobers in the absurd Harris poll, and six computer nerds to somehow separate eight or nine deserving teams and come up with the exact best two ... well, that's just insanity.
I'm not a pro-playoff guy, either. I know that won't work. I'm old-school all the way: I didn't mind the bowl system the way it used to be.

Every other level of college football has a playoff but somehow the big boys can't?
Why isn't Utah worthy? They have a 7-0 bowl record in the last 10 years, broke the BCS before and dominated, have a 13-3 record against BCS conference teams over the last decade, have beat UCLA, USC, and Cal within the last 7 years and when UCLA was #11, beat the team that beat USC this year, and beat Michigan in the big house this year.
The Mountain west conference is 6-1 against the PAC-10 this year.
So take that you fucking BCS bitches!!!!!!
