I wonder if it has anything to do with the skin you're using. I just changed to the sandy colored one and now I can't see it, either.

But you can right click the missing image and then highlight View Image - it will then open up and show the file...

Sorry, I get this complaint sometimes.

I lob images I want to link to elsewhere into a special directory on my website and sometimes the server is a little slow to respond to requests, etc. Telling your browser to (re)load all the images or opening the image in a new page usually clears up the problem.

I assure you, it's still there, though.

(Disturbing, huh? Heh heh heh....

I can relate to that. My ISP is kinda crappy like that as well, bottoming out at random times. I have to get a better provider.
