I miss him too.
I had a get drunk and melancholy night last night, got a little ugly. Not something I do often, I'm a pretty happy person and drinking normally doesn't bother me like that...

Yesterday around 5:30 my step-dad died peacefully at home in bed with my mom by his side. He raised me since I was four and was an excellent father. He was the son of a Boston steamboat captain and the Spanish ambassador to Nicaragua, graduated from Loyola in 1967, is a US Air Force veteran, published a singles newspaper

, worked for Madison Ave ad agencies, his own ad, and travel agencies, real estate, ect...
Before I left home for the army he said to me, "fuck as many women as you can before you get married".
From his belongings I claim his collection of rifles, shotguns and handguns.
