A recent gem from the Hack:
Keith wrote:some authors write 1 book a year, which is perfectly acceptable. I just wonder what they do during the other eleven months?
Here's a hint, Keith - they re-write and edit until they're happy with it.

They also work on other projects, maybe even media. Not everyone one is a fucking shitheel piece of shit worthy of only being scraped off ones boot. What about those authors who publish less than once a year? Quantity is only a metric used by those racing the fucking bottom, like fucking Keith.

It just blows my mind that someone would brag about how fast they can write a book.

Apparently he's been cranking these things out fast enough to have a trilogy already. My, my, where does the time go?

Anyway, it gets better:
Amazon wrote:New York Times bestselling author Brian Herbert and his wife, Jan, have combined their talents to create an epic ecological fantasy novel. In 2024, Earth is consumed by a great War of Ocean Liberation. A military force of sea creatures attacks naval installations, shuts down shipping lanes and fishing operations, and destroys offshore oil-drilling rigs. Huge blue whales, sharks, dolphins, and even monstrous creatures thought to be extinct—all strike with ferocity and surprising strength. The marine armada is led by hybrid, transformed humans who call themselves Sea Warriors, ocean-rights zealots who can swim to the deepest regions of the sea and live off the bounty of the waters. Their commander, Kimo Pohaku, announces his startling intention: the complete liberation of the seas from human control. Finally, the ocean is fighting back, but it might be too late

14evin must've insisted, likely because he knew it would make brian uncomfortable as well as his desire to wield some authority.
