Is this true? Does anyone know how many printings the Dune books have gotten? McDune?

Dune has not gone out of print for nearing fifty years.
I really don't know if any mcDune has made it past a 'first edition, second printing.'
AND
as if you didn't know, AMP IS DA MAN!

Am I the only one who get confused between Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich? Maybe...
Am I the only who "get" confused between you and Keith? Maybe... Maybe not.

I hear they're going to start a new hate group with Imus...
I hear you're going to start making slurping noises with your mouth on a phallic object.

Undoubtedly!
I hear you're going to ruin another of Frank Herbert's titles. Undoubtedly!

Amp is "DA MAN," I agree.
Who is Jim Ayers?
Is there anyone left at dunenovels who is calling them on their shit?
Sales are way down, right?
How long will they be able to continue with their shit?

someone who knew what he was talking about wrote: Then there is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stop the story. And one of the reasons, by the way, why in the book “Dune” I stop it the way I do, deliberately building up a carrying momentum, as though you were going down a slide and then just chopping it…
(oh and to the question "does the new john carter has a Dune feel ?" my answer was "no")

did you see that interview where he jokes about an asteroid hitting the panel he's sitting on ?
lemme find the link...
thanks I got distracted (by work of all things)
Has he always mentionned the asteroid or is it recent ?

I remember there being at least one but I'm trying to block all that stuff out.

I just find it weird he'd mention asteroids so often.
Or maybe that because he's got a master in astrophysics (or whatever he calls it)

Nah, that is giving him too much credit. The asteroid comment is a reminder that Keith reads everything we post here and by "editing" out the asteroid, he is acting like "God" over us and "preventing" his demise.

Yeah I was being sarcastic ^^
Everyone knows the hack knows nothing, about anything...
I was trying to figure out dates and a chronology for these mentions, it does seems like a jibe to "us", but I thought he didn't care ?
Looking for that post by D Pope where keith says something like
"if an asteroid hit that panel, it would be the end of the genre [of fantasy]"
So just in case he does read...
KEITH YOU SUCK ! STAY OFF MY DUNE OR SUFFER THE HUMILIATION OF FINDING YOUR BOOKS AT THE BOTTOM OF A SHELF IN A CHARITY SHOP (yes right next to your star wars and xfiles turds)
you are not and will never be a writer, let alone one of the level reached by Frank Herbert, so just stick to editing stories for mentally challenged people and all will be fine.

From my close observation of writers... they fall into two groups: 1) those who bleed copiously and visibly at any bad review, and 2) those who bleed copiously and secretly at any bad review. ~Isaac Asimov
Keith is the visible type.

Keith is the type who, when you point out an error with a page number and a direct quote and a paragraph explaining why its an error, he'll say "they probably just haven't read the book".

What a bitch, stream movies or buy them new if you want them untouched.

St. Unknown Pot-scrubber of the DVD.
Having been recommended by Nekhrun, Ampoliros, and the kja, I am pleased to beatify the Unknown Pot-scrubber of the DVD!
With the approval of my fellow Cast Out, he may become St. Unknown Pot-scrubber of the DVD, in the Order of Orthodox Herbertarians.
Unknown Pot-scrubber of the DVD, intercede for us when literature is threatened by a hack!

I cannot vote for a "saint" who performed only one miracle; that of frustrating the KJA so that he bitcheth upon the Twat.
