I was gonna say this before (and maybe I did)
but Radio Shack sells an RC ornithopter for about $15 ....
it's a foam bug-like body with thin flapping wings; very delicate
and won't last more than a dozen flights, but pretty cool...
you have to hold it up and get the wings flapping then toss it into the air ...
good example of the concept ...
