I haven't gotten anything for my birthday in years.

Birthdays? Oh, right, those things....

Birthdays for my family our celebrated by an exchange of gifts between the mother and child, though the kid does get special attention.

I don't make the birthday child share on his day. Take a toy out of his hand on his birthday and feel the wrath.

I just had my 23rd last Tuesday. No cake, but I got some Louisiana style seafood and steak. And got to watch a blues band perform, while on the river. Watching a band play on a moving river is something neat. especially since I had to keep up with their pilot.

Not too bad.
