Been watching Season 5 of Game of Thrones. Its really gone of the rails and seems a barely few levels above laughable now.

This episode pulled it together for the most part but fuck, the messing up of Sansa has really thrown the whole story into a tailspin.

My approach to deviations from the books has been to ignore it and consider the series as something on its own. If they're going to separate from the novels there's no point in getting too worked up about it. Just means there'll be some nice surprises when we do finally get to read them. On our deathbeds.

There's a new show called Mr. Robot that's going to begin airing on USA Network on June 24, but the pilot episode is already avaiable on several online and VOD services (I downloaded it from Kickass Torrents). Stop everything you're doing right now and watch the pilot! It's fucking great. One of the best hours of television I've seen in a long time.

I've taken to rewatching Babylon 5, having finally broken down last year and bought it on DVD, though I'm doubly excited to get to the follow-up series I never got to catch - Crusade. Ten dollars at my local comic/dvd/record store was an enticing enough buy for me, I'm hoping it'll be worth it.
I never really got into GoT, on paper or on the screen. I see most of the plot on Facebook regardless.

I am going to watch this. I really like that creepy lead actor. Cant remember his name. Something middle-eastern, IIRC. He was really good in The Pacific. Creepiness incarnate.

The Flash
I've always liked the Flash, and as goofy as he can be, he's still one of the most powerful heroes ever.
(animation Flashpoint Paradox is pretty cool too)
From Dusk til Dawn (Netflix)
If you like the movie you should like this.

That's not a problem. Just install this (don't worry, it's free and completely safe):

It allows you to access any website no matter where you live. I use it myself. I wouldn't be able to watch that Youtube link I posted without it (I don't live in the US).

Should have thought of that!
My excuse is that last time I tried to do that with Netflix, I tried on my phone and it's a bit more of a pain to fool internet on one of those...
How far are we in the season?
I like to wait for a full set if possible as I can watch quite a lot in a row ^^

Then I shall wait for a proper binge.
Tried the ep.1 for Supergirl... Not sure about it, but cool costume.
Although I would have voted for this one

Gearing up for the season 2 premier of True Detective. Not sure how I feel about Vince Vaughn being in this, but we'll see.
Game of Thrones is so hit or miss. But when it's on, it's ON. I'm just overall disgusted with Martin. I had hoped the TV show would inspire him to move a little quicker with the writing, but no such luck. Now the whole work has morphed into some schizophrenic two headed monster - what's in the books, what's in the show, how much of future books are being spoiled, and we won't really know until he finishes his next fucking book. Dear God, Martin, DO SOMETHING!!
Peter Dinklage doing the "I'm Still Standing" song was pretty good, though.

My wife and I are probably going to start binge-watching Game of Thrones this weekend. I should be done with my binge watch of all three seasons of Deadwood by then. (I just got the HBOGo App!!!!!).
