Borderlands 2 new DLC has both Sand Worms and a character call Herbert. Games good as well if you're into shooting n' looting.

Dune just got a mention in tonight's new The Simpsons.
Bart is looking to take music lessons, Comic Book Guy offered to teach him to play Gurney's Balliset.

Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

I missed that part! I watched the opening sequence, though, and thought it was very funny.

They also showed Comic Book Guy's Dune collection. He mentioned Dune Messiah, also.

I got some other titles: Beta-Testers of Dune, Dune Lawsuit, Romancing the Dune, Dunetown, When I Feel Dune, and Dune in the Dumps.
Onto that Simpsons clip: awesome reference to both books and Lynch film's Gurney's Balliset. Could the writer of this scene possibly be one of the Jacurutu conclave, or a potential one waiting to join our fold?

'...all those who took part in the rise and fall of the Dune project learned how to fall one and one thousand times with savage obstinacy until learning how to stand. I remember my old father who, while dying happy, said to me: "My son, in my life, I triumphed because I learned how to fail."' -Alejandro Jodorowsky
