The Bear of Dune caption made me lose it. I got some very strange looks by my coworkers.

I just got a chance to watch it and it was excellent. It gave me an idea for another but Im not sure how to go about it. After watching your I immediatly saw the following in my head.

The opening words from starwars Modified ..Somthing to reflect the destruction attempts by HLP and BH/KJA to ruin dune.

The background music is starwars...

The opening Battle scene, overlay is the Original Chilton HardBack Of Dune.

Behind is the sliding overlay of one of the Abomination books, to be topical probably should be POD.

Then the showing the laser cannons shooting at the rebel original dune.

Cutting to the scene where Vaderanderson walks into rebel dune ship and has that rebel guard choking him asking where the plans for the original dune are!!

Cut to an overlay of FH putting the Book Dune into R2D2.

Other scenes added to increase the fun.

Lastly showing the LightSaber Battle of Vaderanderson verse's Obi-Frank...Vaderanderson assumes he wins...

Then the ending cut of FH in Xwing and the destruction of the HLP-Star.

I know its a big idea and wish I knew how to go about it. would be fun.

That sounds great Trang, it would be amazing if you could pull something like that off.

Found an open source program called Jahshaka, looks pretty interesting, seems to be a complete audio/video editing creation tool. Of course there is a major learning curve here, so dont expect anything off the press an time soon.

Ill play around with it and see how it works see what I can come up with. I have always had an avid interest in film, but never spent anytime at it.

Might have found new hobby:)

I was waiting for someone to make the "Don't be the guy who wears the Tour Shirt to the concert" remark. Especially cause this is the Guy on tour wearing the tour shirt. Don't be that dude.

I was watching "The Seven Stages of Rock" or something like that the other weekend and it showed a guy in a band (I think it was Poison) performing on stage wearing their own tour t-shirt and I commented to my wife how cheesey that was.

KJA is the C. C. DeVille of Science Fiction.

I never much liked Poison, but I feel bad for insulting them like that.

THey have way more talent than KJA.

Yeah, no making fun of C.C. DeVille! Not only a bad-ass guitariat, but he also is on record as loving Dune and the rest of Frank Herbert's works!*

*totally made that part up

However much more it is, it is not less; that is impossible. My nephew, who will turn one the day after tomorrow, already shows lots more talent then hackerson.

That is absolutely beautiful - perfect metaphor, pure poetry...

(And an XKCD reference always adds a little... spice).

Thanks!
