And why did I understand the point made in Freak's big quote's last paragraph even before I read it? Am I secretly Texan?

So, all y'all hate P&B?

You break my heart, chig :(

German's a glorious language, especially for singing, so long as the guy in front of you/the conductor has a bib in the appropriate area...

Ever had a woman talk dirty to you in German? I highly recommend it.

That's true, Chiggy.. but Sandrider isn't you....*glazed, wistful expression*

Freak: indeed, though French is even better for that :)

And Elliot from scrubs can make "Moechten Sie die kuh milchen?" (Sir, would you like to milk the cow?) sound inexplicably sexy....

I'd milk his cow, if you know what I mean!

Actually, someone had better tell me what I mean, I don't think I even know...

"Got Milking?" :)

by orald
Yes, it gives the "Got Milk?" slogan a whole new meaning, not to mention the residue on their lips... :D

I'm pulling double shifts and such at work because one of our main guys is off to 'war"(meaning, he's in the reserve, but I hear he's got a cold so for now he's not going anywhere), some bitch called in sick due to back pains(get a fuckin' better mattress!) and we've mostly got new/slow workers, AND the damn bitch of a station manager is off on vacation for the week.

I mean, sure I want more shifts and a higher salary, but this is getting too stressed up, not to mention I've catched a cold myself.

On the plus side, I'll probably get a great salary next month, if I don't drop dead from fatigue by then.

Off to work in 30 minutes, another half shift after the one I pulled this morning.

I'm back. kinda. Most of the pressure is off now, back to mostly one shift a day.
I've been pulling 8-8's(8 work-8 home-8 work...which means more like 4-5 hours of sleep inbetween every shift with a fast, cold meal inbetween) almost all the time since my last post, so I didn't have time to visit my sister and log on.

The computer has arrived, and after some tribulations(screwed up BIOS defenitions) it seems to work smoothly.
Still need to arrange internet connection though, and expand my game library ASAP.

Read Watchmen(courtesy of the ex) through, loved it, and do appologize for raising an eyebrow at it(but hey, I didn't care much for "300", and if the movie is in any way a good presentation of the comic, I don't want to touch it).

Gonna make a Watchmen themed poll in Ghafla now.
