I just don't understand why his opinion matters so much, that's all.

Other than the eternally Missing In Action Baron, he's the only person who outranks Hyppo at 'Keen and who could, conceivably open the board back up for salvage access. (Not that I think there will be much left if she has actually been AT the archives like she says.)

I am interested to see which way he goes. And if she tries to block his access should that be against her (which I'm beginning to suspect won't be the case). Her trying to keep him (and/or Baron) out would be hilarious in light of her claims that she was protecting the board by demoting Crys and locking out even Freak.

I think we're waiting on a response from Crys at this point...

Huh? Edric couldn't kick you off this board if he wanted to. Only Freak and Omph can do that. What are you on about?

I think Freak voted to kick him out of Arrakeen. I don't know what he's on about though, since I never really got the whole thing- I had pretty much left by then.

The thing I'm biching about is that when he kicked me, no one really piped, while when Hyp did her business with Crys etc y'all got so worked up and still don't stop yammering about her.

And then Edric comes back and gets a warm welcome from everyone.

I think the (initially?) warm welcome for Edric was augmented by the hope that he would do something about Hyppo (still waiting) and the fact that...he brought prezzies! (In the form of the timeline and now a start on an encyclopedia.)

My opinion at this point is provisional. But whatever happens, I foresee no problems working with anyone on the projects mentioned.
