He already is ... they are full of crap.TheDukester wrote:You know, the ultimate extension of TheKJA's take-over would be ...
Kevin of Dune![]()
I mean, think about it: it's 20 years from now, Bobo has shuffled off this mortal coil, TheKJA has maneuvered himself into complete control of all things HLP, and the Dune series has been re-numbered with Paul of Dune starting at #1.
What's left but to officially write himself into the stories?

I'm sure everyone at the coffee shop I'm at is wondering what I'm laughing at. This was brilliant.SandChigger wrote:Serkanner wrote:He already is ... they are full of crap.![]()

He’s one of the more interesting wingnuts out there. In a laughing *at* him rather than *with* him way, if you know what I mean.
Before much of his internet presence was self-terminated, I was always fascinated by the way he always tended to (a) say he was a science-fiction author, (b) tell everyone his age/date-of-birth, and (c) reveal that he lived in “Norman, Oklahoma”, or wherever the hell it was. Truly, he was, and is, a hollow man.
Here’s a Google cache of his deranged posts at a “Goldfrapp” blog; his name should be highlighted in yellow. Don’t know how long the URL will last:

And here’s a forum where he’s mentioned in a not-very-good light:

Toodle-pip.
Not only is Turner Maxwell Books (vanity press) trying to make money out of writers at the front end of book production, it's also trying to make money from them via royalties and purchases. Check out this.
A certain James C. Harwood has written a book which forms the basis of a "shared universe". First step: buy his book to find out about the universe. Second step: write your own story, set in that universe. Third step: publish your book through, yes, you've guessed it, Turner Maxwell Books. Fourth step: pay James C. Harwood a royalty of $1.00 on every single copy of your book that you sell.
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
I'm not going to touch this one with a bargepole.
What on Earth are you talking about? Do you know what the topic of this thread is, lady?Mandy wrote:You guys have gone too far this time!
