Tomorrowland. A better film than what the critics are saying. I think people are too wrapped up in dystopian films and are a bit shocked when a film isn't.

Mad Max: Fury Road.
Enjoyed it immensely. I didn't know anything about MM before this. The main villain's mask seemed familiar though. Either it's reminding me of something else, or I actually have seen something of MM before...

I love Mad Max. The second one was one of my favorite movies of all time. Get the Criterion edit.

Jurassic World. What a huge disappointment. What could have been a thrilling rediscovery was reduced to a by the numbers action/disaster film. Miscast and poorly acted. Shame really.

I would NOT recommend watching Zombeavers with young children... and not because of the gore.Omphalos wrote:Saw that on Netflix. Passed it to watch Age of Extinction with my boy. Not sure which of us won.

The description on Netflix said it was full of "randy kids." I didn't think all their names were Randy.Freakzilla wrote:I would NOT recommend watching Zombeavers with young children... and not because of the gore.Omphalos wrote:Saw that on Netflix. The Cowboys. A later John Wayne western where he takes on a group of boys to help him drive his cattle to market. Very enjoyable.

Just saw Jurassic World, I give it an eh... out of 10
I think the two best parts of it were the theme of audiences wanting something bigger and badder, but in the end its the old classics that save them and Bryce Dallas Howard.
