You know, like when no one on "House" or the CSI shows ever wears a face mask when mucking about in contagions yet never get sick and die!
I had the misfortune of seeing one of those shows and they tried to act like they knew what they were talking about in an apartment fire. I never watched it again.

My wife watches those shows but I suspect it's just to plan how to get away with murdering me.

I think the guy has a great comic book style, though.

I like the ones where they use audio to solve crime. It's usually complete bullshit. Pretty good for a laugh though.

Yea, I bet. It's your fault for not specifying.

wer, m., man.

Code: Select all

    Singular Plural
Nom wer weras
Gen weres wera
Dat were werum
Acc wer weras
So X-Weras as subject or object in a sentence.
X-Wera for "of the X-Men".
X-Werum, "to the X-Men".

Go thou therefore forth from thy abode, stalwart lout, and get thee to thy place of imploy, there for to pump the stoneoil extract, an occupation meet for such as thou. :P

All the good folks die in all these earthquakes in Japan and only Chig lives on. Clearly, there's no god.

What are you on about now? Only about 10 people died in the earthquake here last weekend. (There are a few still missing and unaccounted for.) Are you sure you're not confusing Japan and China?

(Actually, one of the deaths did occur here in the city where I live: a guy in his early 50s was fishing down in some caves in the cliffs along the edge of the ocean and he was carried into the water by some falling rubble. I've been to that spot and it's marked as unsafe and off-limits, but he was down in there anyway.

Darwin Awards candidate...although he has probably already reproduced at that age. )

"All the good folks" etc means people in general, not in this or that particular earthquake.
Are you sure you're not confusing Japan and China?
No, read more carefully. I clearly said "good folks".

Oh, and don't let this fool you, this was just a form of expression, I don't give a damn about the people who died.

When God hath ordained a creature to die in a particular place, he causeth that creature's wants to direct him to that place.

But isn't that really one of the DA candidacy requirements, that the person has not yet had children?

Otherwise they haven't done the species a service by keeping their genes out of da pool. ;)
