Expiration date of 1-2 weeks?
More riddles as opposed to simple "what's the name of..." questions.
This will also nulify the effectiveness of PDF search since one has to understnd the answer beforehand.
Something like:
Pretty colors might lead astray.
The answer to that would be that junkie device in Gammu that Luciall sees. I think it's better than asking outright- what's the name of the device...etc.

In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.
I wish I could have been with you that one last time.

Yea, my riddle here was thrown out of the head, I know it was too vague.
Rhyming is always a plus in riddles methinks, I always try to but it doesn't always work well(and as I've said, I'm not too good in rhyming in English).

Ah, yes, the "Ass rouge" (Red Ace). Excellent choice.
In that memorable passage in Dune, Stilgar eats a dish of the heavily spiced Caladanian curry which Muad'Dib has caused to be prepared for his loyal Fedaykin...but it irritates his piles and makes them bleed profusely. He reaches into to his stillsuit buttpouch and shows them all the damage....

Re: Trivia Rules
I've wondered for a long time how to conduct a "Trivia Contest", not on Dune,
but just in general, on a message board like this ....
all I have ever been able to come with would be "Honor Code Trivia",
wherein everyone must be honor-bound to not Google the answers ...
I'm always fascinated by what little bits of facts are stored in my brain that
can be recalled when some-one asks a question, & I know the answer ...
sometimes, it makes to sense to me - if we're in a bar, and some one says,
"Hey, what year was the Alamo ?", meaning the battle, I can immediately
answer "1836" and understand why I would know this ...
other times, I know the answer to something without having the slightest clue
as to when or why I would've learned it - something I just "picked up" along the way ...
sometimes I surprise myself - a conversation or question will trigger something, a memory,
or related event, and I will say "Don't why I know this, but ...."
also, I enjoy general knowledge trivia games (used the beat the living dogshit outta my boys
at Trivial Pursuit) and Jeopardy! .... for a long time, I used to stop in a bar when the show
was on at 5:30pm and me and some old guys would watch and call out answers and bet shots ...
for one thing, I do enjoy showing off my vast and wide knowledge, but I also got a kick of other
smart people, esp if they knew something about a topic I knew nothing about - and then there
was always the bubba in the back who would call out an answer to something you'd've bet your
farm he didn't know ...
again, tho, the only way to do that here would be on the "Honor System" ....
and I just don't think I'd trust some of you asshats around here ....

Re: Trivia Rules
People never believe me when I tell them that I can not cheat at games ... I just can't, it is true! I am in for the Honour system trivia game.
