Well, anyone who is really anyone doesn't.
(It really does shake your world view and faith in humanity to learn that people can actually read the new books and enjoy, even love, them. I guess I was living a very sheltered existence until I got involved in all this....)
As much as I would love to see a good film adaptation of Dune, I don't want anything with Kevin J. Anderson's & Brian Herbert's names on it to succeed. Even if they're going to have minimal involvement or say in how it's done.
If Peter "More Muscular Adventure" Berg is really off the project, that means all they've really got is a script.
