well even if I am still a child at heart I am quite far from being an infant ;)
Sorry, Lotek, meant no disrespect. I'll choose the metaphor more carefully next time.

hey don't worry I've got thicker skin than that ;)
If I couldn't take a joke I wouldn't last very long here now wouldn't I? And then I'd just have to kill my online persona in a flourish of gastric juices bursting ou.. What? This has already been done?!
Bollocks! Will it ever be possible to have an original thought one day? Damn you internet! Damn you...

And also, maybe to Chig and you I can still be considered a child?

I've been watching E! News all Memorial Day Weekend trying to see if there would be some kind of tribute to recently deceased Straight Science Fiction Author James C. Harwood and the unusual circumstances surrounding his lawyer's acquisition of the HEREafter shared universe as well as related Twitter/Blogger accounts, but I haven't seen anything. I just don't get what is wrong with the media today. All anyone's talking about is Dennis Hopper.

I'm pretty sure that the lawyer is keeping a wrap on the news; he's afraid that the monetization campaign at the HEREafter novels website will be put at risk.

(This isn't true. I just posted it because Nekhrun forgot to add the word "monetization" to his post. Shaaaaaaame.)

DAMN IT! I'm trying hard to keep track of it all, but I totally spaced out on the monetization and the Muslim conspiracy. I'll get 'em next time.

hey, check out Big-O, Mouthpiece in Action - just couldn't not tack on that disclaimer, eh ?

and I was ready to post a request for The Duchig, but chig's head on baby alia's grownup body works, too ...

isn't there an AmericanBeautyChigger with rose petals, too ?

BTW, I got an email response from a Detective on the Norman PD; apparently he wasted an afternoon
surfing the net and getting an eyeful of JIMMAY!, and while he seemed slightly amused by the whole
thing, he told me in no uncertain terms to quit fucking around with the po-leese ... he also mentioned
that he'd go ahead and send James C. Harwood's IP to the child porn task force in OKC; apparently
he also agreed with my profiling ...
................ I exist only to amuse myself ................

I personally feel that this message board, Jacurutu, is full of hateful folks who don't know
how to fully interact with people.

I think that would have been my reaction, too. Poor guy is probably wondering why he bothered to take the civil service exam.

Libel. Frank Walden is gonna have a field day. He's going to find this detective and make a citizens' arrest.

EDIT: You can't libel the dead, though, right?

USUL! We have WOODSIGN!

Now... why would someone at Hardwoody's old IP address be searching for Pestie in that way?

And this one's even weirder, because it's weeks after Hardwoody supposedly died:

It infuriates me that someone would take a dead man's computer and start stalking one of his biggest fans. Maybe we should get newfacedancer over here to see if he can communicate with Harwood's spirit.

Can ghosts use technology? If they do, does that factor into Google Analytics? This could be quite a conspiracy. Those hits shouldn't count because they can't be actual customers and it would mean that websites have been inflating their stats for years now. This could be something for Rakis Holy Nomad as well. We need to start gathering our spiritual forces to build some protection for our members for this new supernatural onslaught of the 21st century.

Maybe there was an inheritance!

And Frank Walden, using the deceased's computer, is simply executing his duties as an officer of the court by attempting to find Pestie and give him his 20 bucks.

Sev and I have been spending a pleasant few days commenting on THE ONE review of KJA's Mop of All Thangs and in a discussion thread over on Amazon. The book has only THE ONE 2-star review at the moment, and there have been no replies to our comments, just a few unhelpful votes. The KJASF crowd really seems to be letting KJA down on this one.

I'm just so glad James didn't live to see this sad day. It's truly heart-rending. OH THE HUMANITY! :tissue2:
