Living in interesting times, you mean?
(As Julie might confirm, the Chinese never traditionally said that.)

Have done indeed.
And might very well have said, had they thought of it.
But they didn't.
Evah.

I'll ask Ragabash. I'm certain that there is.
We were gonna upgrade the board last night, but got to drinking gin, eating pork and watching BBC's Earth on his purdy, new ginormous TV. 65" or something like that.

Nope. My brother's room mate made a bevmo run. But I got into the gin before he got back and just decided to see it through to the end.

Bombay Saphire or Hendrix (more expensive, but nice for an occasion) would be my suggestions. If you don't like those then you just don't like gin.

Do you drink it straight or make mixed drinks?
I'm a whiskey kinda guy and just can't see myself doing shots of gin.

Not shots, gods no! Sipping drink my friend. I use it in lots of mix drinks, but generally I just make martinis (with VERY little vermouth) or my own special martinis with almost no vermouth and a garlic stuffed olive, and done dirty style with some of the olive brine. Or I just drink it straight.
The most drinkable thing that lets you taste the gin is gin and tonic water, with some lime.

Gin and tonics aren't bad. Love the very dirty martinis. I would never drink something like that at home,though...unless someone else made it for me.

Gin and tonic is about the only hard liquor that I drink except for scotch, which is what I usually drink. Love me some good scotch. right now Im working on a bottle of Glenlivet 18 y.o. cask strength. It's pretty slow going.
