More new emoticons-smileys

Post by ARCH »

I think we need more new emoticons cause the ones we have are ancient and are used up(many members, little smileys-it happens)
So what do you think.
Which would you add?
Suggestions?

I tried to have some upped on the old board but only two or three were approved by admin.
i thouhgt since Freak is admin here even smileys who smoke can get their place.
Freak?
Other staff&members?
" Nature beauteous form
Contains a lovely essence
Called by some- decay
By this lovely presence
New life finds its way.
Tears shed silently
Are but water of soul
They bring new life
To the pain of being--
A separation from that seeing
Which death makes whole."

I think we need you to have an unexpressed thought.

We?
Are you an abomination as well?
It happens to dune fans.

For instance now we could use an Alia smiley....
but we don't have one, now.

One can assume that you think you're an abomination yourself, since you're the one who initially refered to yourself as "We".

I promise I'll get around to adding more, they're just not high priority. Keep posting them here and I'll eventually go through the thread and upload them.

I want all the basic ones that appear on the posting page ....

on the more smilies window, I definitely want

holiday smileys are only good one day out of 365 .....

{edit}

I don't like the "off topic" (this board is the hometown of off-topic)
or any other forum-police smileys - anything that Hyppo would click
to scold someone should go ....

another issue, perhaps only pertaining to me & Mandy is the time it takes to
load up allllllll those smileys over dial-up, so I'd like to see a bunch of them dumped,
anyway - and replaced with a handful of Dune-specific & outrageous ones ....

(altho, I'll say this: so far Windows7 + firefox + dial-up (once actually connected) is amazingly fast (comparatively))

You do have a point there. I just thought it was 'cute.'

but the worthless w/o picture is just funny to me. And I've only used it in jest.

Yeah, I've forgotten how slow dial-up can be...sorry.

I do wonder if anyone has noticed though that we have a few smilies that repeat:
    :x  :!:  :?: :P
These are both in the upper section and lower section on the post page. Maybe we could delete the repeats?
