At first, I, too, didn't care for the new Dune books because they aren't Intelligently Abstract like FH books. Wow. I just feel sorry for this Sagan fellow, getting terrible info from Spice Blandson. In my opinion, Sagan is on the right track. Leto II made it pretty abundantly clear that his way was the only way to ensure infinity for the Human race. Therefore, on a long enough timeline, the species would end even under Bene Gesserit rule. I always kind of felt bad for the BG. They never really did get their KH. I often wonder how things might have ended up if they had their way. What role would a KH under their control play? Maybe it's impossible to control a KH.

No, the real challenge is to see how much you can subtly insult KJA, BH, their books and their fans before/without getting banned - it's easy to keep your mouth shut about some things and not get banned. Eventually, either you will not talk about these things at all, or you will get banned - I was probably the one OH that people thought was the least likely to get banned, I did everything according to how Byron said he wanted it, and still got banned. Apparently, even Byron's love slave Hypatia is getting some of her posts deleted these days.
