"Is this real life?" :D

Does anyone else feel weird about laughing at a drugged-out 7-year-old?

Last night, Letterman mixed the audio from the flight that chrashed in the Hudson and Bale's tantrum so it sounded like Bale was in the tower yelling at the pilot. Good stuff.

Well fuck me, Bale actually apologized. He did a damn fine job of it too. You can hear it all by following this link:

Christian Bale apologizes

I suppose I could look at the whole thing cynically and still blame him or question the motives behind it all. But I have to say his apology felt genuine to me. I respect him for owning up to it and not making any excuses. Good on him.

No excuses? Didn't he claim that it was such an intense scene, that he got confused between himself and John Connor? That's the worst excuse I've ever heard. How delusional do you have to be to think fora full 3.5 minutes that you're humanity's savior in the war against machines? I don't care how good you act, that's no excuse.

Sounded like explaining to me. He's never excused what he did. He explicitly acknowledges all his guilt. But whatever. This is the same debate that happens every time someone apologizes and that's never going to change. Human nature; universal constant. For my part, I'm not feeding the cynicism on this one.

But I am going to enjoy "Bale Out" for a long time to come :)

On David after Dentist

that high kid is a testament to how overmedicated children are today! I have two eight-year-old cousins with a four-year-old sister who are popping more pills than Jim Morrison after the concert. Granted, one of the boys has a nueral problem and requires special medication, but the other two are on allegory medication for so many allergies that You can't keep up with it . Thier mother says they're allergic to grass!

Grass!

Ya' know what's gonna happen? They're gonna overdose, go like Heath Ledger. And their uncle is gonna punch me in the face, because I won't be able to stop laughing so much.

fucking, corrupt liberal doctors...

I'm not surprised one bit that "nueral" problems run in your family, Sloey. (Are these the aunt from Pluto's kids?)

Sorry, kiddo, but "nueral" and "thier mother" say differently.

And "allegory" is spelled correctly, just used incorrectly.

But keep trying, eh!

I thought the real reason for Bale's freakout was when he heard that KJA described writing Batman was easy because "he's just a rich guy with some cool toys".

Dude, someone with some audio editing skills just has to mix that...

I've never even seen a video or sound file of KJA. I'm sure some exist, but the guy is barely a pop culture footnote for a good reason.
I sure would like to a Bale vs. KJA sound file or video :)

Don't worry, it had nothing to do with the fact that he was the last Cylon. :P

It's not over yet? I though it had been done for months and months and months? Have I cut myself off that effectively?

Wow... I really thought season 4 was long over.

oN THE FINAL SEASON OF bsg

Post by Sole Man »

In the last episode, just before they reveal who the final Cylon is, Journey comes on stage, kicking off their comback tour with Steve Perry, and the show ends as they start "Don't stop beleaving"

(That last one was on purpose, Chig)
