Special forum for other FH works?

Post by orald »

Instead of a little thread on the general discussion, how about a forum for all his other works?

Yep, that's about all I have to say.

That doesn't sound completely crazy...

I second the suggestion.

Frank has written so much more great novels besides the Dune chronicles and they deserve their own special niche on the forum in my opinion as well.

My favorite non-Dune novel by Frank?

Destination: Void ... sheer brilliance!
"... the mystery of life isn't a problem to solve but a reality to experience."

“There is no escape—we pay for the violence of our ancestors.”

Sandrider: "Keith went to Bobo's for a weekend of drinking, watched some DVDs,
and wrote a Dune Novel."

I'll third. Serkanner, I've yet to read Destination: Void because I haven't seen it in stores, but if its as good as you say then I'll have to check the local library. Of course, that'll probably be after I read The Dosadi Experiment which will be after some Lovecraft stories I'm in the middle of.

Anyone who wants, I've got some of FH's works on PDF files , including Detination: Void and Dosadi.

I'd like all the non-dune books you have, please.

Edit: Argh, due to slow upload rate and possible restrictions of emails, I'm sending it in 4 packs or about 1.5-2mb each.

Got all 4? A dang it! Now you'll be able to easily quote from all those as well! Woe unto me!

I doubt it, I'm not nearly as familiar with those books as the Dune books.

Having the PDF files doesn't help that much if you cant remember the context.

valys2006@gmail.com , if you will :D

I only read the Pandora series, meaning The Jesus Incident, The Ascension Factor and The Lazarus Effect. I guess Destination: Void would be a nice addition to those :)

Considering it's the first book in the series, I'd say so.

Would you mind also sending them to me? My email (which I made when I first watched the mini) is at the bottom.
