Something to tickle Dune fans

Post by GamePlayer »

Reading an article about the demise of the film critic in print and one thing I never expected was a pop culture reference to Dune. Here it is (end of the fifth paragraph):

I figured some of my fellow Dune fans might enjoy reading the unexpected reference :)

Its not really unexpected if you mention it before hand...

Needs rethinking indeed in light of this thread's header.

Another recent Dune refrence...tell me if this doesn't ring a bell from somewhere: http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php

Made even more blatant by how Ethan gets to that point a just few strips earlier.
In memory of Perach, who suffered and died needlessly.

I wish I could have been with you that one last time.
