Looking for BOB, the Mad Mars Face Man? You can always find him at

COMMON SENSE CENTRAL dot NET!!!

Oh, gawd, reading his actual poem again after a few weeks...it's too much!
Good lord, crazy bob has been a busy man. There is a TON of wacky shit on that site. Flying frogs, Mars pyramids, clingons circling around Uranus, wow. What a nut.

Yep, that's my creation. Reading gut-wrenching praise for bad writing has an inspirational effect on me :)
I've got some more, if you're interested. Check out the dune demotivator thread.

Will my water be taken if I admit I like the cover art? It's a striking scene, albeit one that appears to be taking some artistic license.

And, just so there's no confusion: cover = nice; words inside = abomination.

Nah, you can stay moisty for the time being. I rather like Youll's stuff, too.

Of course, since he seems to be a personal friend of the Hiker Hack, at least, he remains suspect on an individual level. He's interesting as an artist, though.

I think Youll does some decent art, but I think his sandworms look terrible. Honestly, he's pretty over-rated, especially when compared to Schoenherr.

Why does KJA have so many book signings of his own? Don't tell me BH has set him up as the successor of FH's legacy. Or does this show that BH lets KJA do all the writing?

OK, first off, Brian is the older of the two (he's 61 this year) and has 15 years on Kevin. We have no idea what sort of health he's in, but the stress of a book tour is generally going to be harder on an older person. (I of course have no idea personally what a book tour is like, but Kevin makes it sound grueling—of course, he makes everything sound grueling.)

And then there is the whole aerophobe aspect.

Because BwiBwi is afeared of pwanepwanes, the range of areas he can attend signings in is naturally limited to those comfortably reachable by Amtrack. (And this is a guy writing about traveling in space. Sheesh. )

Well...evidently the book is already in some stores in the UK, even though it wasn't scheduled to be out until the 4th.

My my my, Amazon Japan is carrying both the US and UK versions....
