Has anyone else put the out-of-print status of the Dune Encyclopedia, alongside the passage in Heretics about "Destroy most copies and time will take care of the rest" (was that Taraza saying that?) in their brains, and seen a sort of sad humorousness there? Am I the first person to do that or only about the 10,000th. (That number could be a rather low estimate)

Re: snarky concurrence
I'm sure we all concluded that the Herbert estate doesn't want the DE publish for exactly that reason.
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.

DE hasn't been republished because there are a jillion contributing authors who have to give permission. Most of them were kids when that things was published. Now a good many of them are successful authors or teachers. Good luck herding those cats.
