Hello
I first started reading Dune about fifteen years ago, when I read through Frank's six, and admittedly read through the atrocious six that Beavis and Butthead had put out by that time. I try to read the original six once a year. I found a few of the boards, including Jacurutu, in the years when I was first starting out, and have done a good deal of reading the boards, especially here, but the few times I felt the urge to sign up I had issues registering. Thankfully it worked this time.
The new attempt at a movie is what most recently got me looking around here. I'm skeptical it will get it right, or that any attempt to adapt Dune into movie form will ever get it right (I was hoping for a 10 to 13 episode season on one of these premium or streaming channels) , but admittedly, I hope this new one is faithful enough to at least be enjoyable and re-watchable. Anyways, looking forward to doing some more reading and getting into discussing with you guys.

Re: Hello
Sorry about the sign in problems, I think we've got that fixed now.
Paul of Dune was so bad it gave me a seizure that dislocated both of my shoulders and prolapsed my anus.
