APOLOGIES FOR THE HUGENESS. I photographed these out of two SF Encyclopedias in the high school's library.

I love the OH Font "Frank" on the director's chair. I assume that was his seat from the filming of the Lynch adaptation.Note the clapboard on the desk.

Big A-Frame, shag carpet, the man is stylin!
Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

I'm still very proud of The Quarry but … let's face it; in the end the real best way to sign off would have been with a great big rollicking Culture novel.

I liked the article, and I really liked those pictures. A thought came to me while looking at the first one, and that is: Frank Herbert looked like a smart guy. At the very least, you can tell there was something going on inside his head. Brian Herbert (I'm sorry for bringing him up) has a dull look to him. The pictures I've seen make me think of a chicken's eyes.

Yes. The first one is. The High School is discarding a bunch of reference material today. Thus, I've added it to my collection. However, I'm trying to find the title with the picture from his study. I can't remember what it was from, but I'm not done looking. Problem is I actually have to work today, and can't just pour over stacks of books in the back hallway.
