Never gets better,
the betrayal of Dunes trust.
The pain remains fresh.
Leto II is gone for good, except for OM. The "pearl" was just that; a miniscule portion of what Leto was, and not a compressed version of the whole. The pearl that the worms have do not make them Leto, or in any way similar to him.

This threads got me wishing Dr Seuss did a version of Dune.

1 worm, 2 worms,
Red worm,
Blue worm.

Edit to add: The Worm in the Hat. :)

Not in a box.
Not with a fox.
Not in a house.
Not with a mouse.
I would not like them here or there.
I would not like them anywhere.
I would not their prequel sham.
I do not like them, Sam-I-am.
