Auto login
Hi,
The Autologin hasn't worked for some time now and I just took a look at the cookie that is supposed to allow auto login.
I'm no phpBB expert, but the domain in the cookie is .www.jacurutu.com.
Is in not supposed to just be http://www.jacurutu.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; with no leading dot?
Just a thought.

Re: Auto login
I'm not sure which is worse, auto login not working, or Sandworms of Dune.

Thanks to Ragabash for putting a fix up. I'm more like the lifeguard who keeps you kids out of the pool during adult swim.

Just like with water-shortage, it's amazing how good it can feel to have something that is normally taken for granted. Bless the auto-login and all his passwords, may his coming cleanse the cookies.

Is it just me, or did this break again? I've had to relog in each time I visit for the last few days.

Its you. Might be how you have cookies set. Or your ISP is randomizing your location.Cpt. Aramsham wrote:Is it just me, or did this break again? I've had to relog in each time I visit for the last few days.

Re: Auto login
Hmm... it seems OK now. Just some kind of passing glitch, maybe. I don't really see what could cause it on this end: I never got logged out of TAU, for example. Thanks, anyway!

Oh the joys of google I tried "I blame Texas", and Burt Reynolds and Sue Ellen introduced the blue jeans brothers.

Re: Auto login
I've figured out what the problem was for me: If I go to www . jacurutu . com, it will keep my login. But if I just go to plain jacurutu . com (which otherwise displays the same page), it will show me as not logged in (though if I then go on to www . jacurutu . com, I'll see that I still am). Presumably this has to do with the scope of the login cookie. Since I usually go to the page by typing into the address bar and choosing one of the auto-complete options, which has jacurutu . com as the first and www . jacurutu . com as the second, I was getting inconsistent behavior depending on which one I happened to choose.
Edit: The forum converts every URL to links, in the process wiping out the distinction I was trying to demonstrate. I've added spaces within the URLs to stop it.
