OK, maybe not the Texans, but equal, at least.

Personally, I think the Atlanta Falcons will make it and perhaps San Francisco 49ers... if Kaepernick can polish the rough spots of his QBacking, i.e. the dropped snaps.

As long as the Falcons don't get cocky they could go all the way.

I just know none of my teams have a real shot at making it this year. Too many blown chances. :-(

Edit to add:
I am such an idiot! Of course 49ers and Falcons can't make it to the Superbowl... they're both in the. NFC .... but they could pair off for that championship

I'd like to see the Falcons and the Texans.

The way the Falcons have been playing this year I wouldn't count them out of any game.

Well, it's official, my team won't be in the playoffs.
The Steelers threw that game away against Cincinnati. :tissue2:

Panthers won their game tonight but they had already lost their chance for a playoff slot. :-(

And the way 49ers are playing tonight --- oh boy.

Oh well, I'll still enjoy the playoffs no matter who plays.

NFC:
Congrats to the Falcons!!!! my stake in them is seeing a former Great Kansas City Chief play for and hopefully get the Super Bowl Ring he deserves and wasn't given the opportunity here because of....well the Chiefs suck.

Seattle is looking pretty dam tough, and on an offensive roll, watch out.

AFC:
My Chiefs created new dimensions of suck this year (Turnovers, time never leading in a game, near dead last in offense, First team to rush for 350 yards and loose a game in NFL history!! on and on) What can one say, except, look to future, hope the owner gets his head out of his ass, grows some balls, fires those that need to be fired, hires epic greats, takes the talent they have and molds them into a competative team, that honors his fathers memory. OH YEA WE GET FIRST PICK IN THE DRAFT BABY!!!

My second team is the Patriots, and I would like to see Brady get his 4th, They can handle the the texans, but not sure about Denver, manning is on a holy terror, and looking strong.

Sorry to see Steelers(always a fan) not be in the mix, but they gave it their best.

Predictions?

To many, but a lot of great combinations could be had!

Come back superbowl (if Vikings make it to playofs)

Denver vs Vikings.....Manning vs Adrian Peterson!!

Last years SuperBowl that wasnt....49ers vs Patriots!

Rookie Bowl Colts vs Redskins (if they get in playoffs)

by the way the teams have been playing now, Falcons, Denver, Seattle,Texans are the strongest teams.
(Patriots and Green Bay are just hair behind them)

Falcons vs Texans would be the money bet

Seattle vs Denver looks likely,

Patriots vs Falcons is my prediction. Pull for patriots and bradys 4th, but great if falcons win for TONY G!!
"Long Live the Fighters", "Dragon.....the other white meat."

I've very happy about the Falcons but whenever someone speaks well of them I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not in some kind of Star Trek bizzaro universe.

Well the Colts are done for the year. Let's see if the Redskins can hold a little longer.

I don't know who I want to pull for more; the 'Skins or the 49ers but I think either would have a tough time against the Falcons for the NFC title.

As much as I wish the 49ers could go to the Superbowl I must admit I think it might be the Falcons who make it to Superbowl, if they keep it together.

Your 'skins are a no-go. 'Hawks at Falcon next Sunday.

Should be good games next weekend.

You beat me!
But yeah, next week should be quite ... interesting. The Falcons best keep up their guard during the second half s

I would like to say that I think it says alot to the character of the Seahawks members who where kneeling on the field while RG3 was being examined plus the guys who clapped when he was able to finally stand and walk off the field.

Excellent sportsmanship

I think the Pats and Broncos meet in the AFC championship game, with the Pats winning.
Falcons win against the Seahawks at home. As for the GB/SF game, I still can't decide. But whichever team wins that one I think will beat the Falcons and lose to the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

So looking forward seeing the games this weekend. I need some relaxation and what's better than watching 22 men fighting over an oblong ball. :obscene-drinkingcheers:

My wish for tonight :
Denver wins their game against Baltimore and SF wins against GB.

So far the Broncos are holding their own. Crossing my fingers.

Edit to add: Well one out of two ain't bad. ;-) At least the 49ers get to play another game.

Talk about a game. :scared-eek:

Well, it looks like 49ers will meet the Falcons for the Conference title.

So Freak, truth now, how ballistic did you go in that last 25 seconds of the game?

I think I went through my entire range of emotions. I almost had a conniption, but the kids were in the room.

Actually, it's not surprising. This year the Falcons seem to have often taken an early lead and let it slip away. Boy, what a fairy tale ending!
