(How many seasons, total episodes, are there? I don't think I've seen more than six or seven episodes, altogether. The channel that was airing them was kinda irregular in their scheduling. :? )

14 episodes ... and they were originally shown out of order in the states, too, if that makes you feel better.

TV executives: they are worse than preeks in some ways.

It was Fox. But the sentiment still applies.

Just marathoned the TV show; much better than Whedon's Dollhouse. I hope to catch the movie soon. I was definitely surprised that I wasn't aware of the show when it was on.

Still, I gotta agree with Chig. "Fuck Siffy!" Yeah, I'm still disappointed that they canceled Caprica and that there really isn't anything "sci-fi" about the channel now. Why would I want to watch wrestling on SyFy?

(Argh! Omph, you quoted me before I edited. Fox, huh? Fox Japan has been setting new levels in stupid here lately. )

Um... why would anyone want to watch wrestling on any channel? :?

I'm a huge Firefly fan, i'll never forgive Fox for cancelling the show. I love the movie as well. If the show hadn't been canceled it would be my all time favourite tv show.

Hmm, I've never seen Firefly, although I watched a movie called Serenity, which I think is related. Maybe I should check this out...

What is usually thought of Serenity by the way? I enjoyed it, but mostly I was pleasantly suprised to turn on the T.V and find a modern movie set in space but without seeming too... damn, I can't think of the right word. Oh well, it was a fun movie anyway.

Edit: Nevermind, I just re-read this thread and seen it mentioned.

I just saw Serenity, fantastic!

Now I'm going to have to watch the series.

That´s a great find.

I miss this show so much. Watching firefly is like starting to read a really good book, and you're looking forward to everything that's coming next. Then after only the first chapter someone snaps it out of your hand and burns it, so you can never know the rest of the story. Then it's reincarnated and you finally get to watch Serenity, but you realise it's only the last chapter of a really, really great book, and you missed out on everything inbetween.

Whenever I watch, see, read anything about Firefly/Serenity, I still lament "Oh what might have been!"

Fuck you, Fox.
